excuse me? uhhhmalachi wrote:a. suit yourself, but don't tell others what they should or shouldn't do. everyone defines origami differently. you might consider cutting out of bounds, but others might be fine with it (even more so if it's before the bulk of folding and done as just a convenience not for structural reasons).Wen Fu Kai wrote:we shouldn't be "cutting" -- say you wanted to start with 8ths--cut off 1/8--true that will give you a 7ths--but you no longer have a square--a rectangle-you would then have to redistribute your paper.

when I read that comment--it was not appropiate--sure he's up to opinion--but he expressed it in a way that disrespected me.
He made a personal attack and that is upsetting to me.
If he said: "I disgree...because so and so..." then I would have no problem with that--but instead he said"suite yourself, but don't tell others..." Was I FORCING my views on others?? what he was thinking?? My comment was a suggestion!
Malachi should not have a personal attack----more careful of his words...I almost felt as if he was looking for a reason to argue on something that clearly was not meant to disrespect anyone origamists. That is why I got upset--and the reason for my response.
