I was attempting some insects last night and I fell in love when I saw Sipho Mabona's Katydid on his flickr account. The link to the Crease pattern is here:

My problem is not collapsing the base but understanding how to shape it. If anyone can post a picture, give written advice, a video whatever please do. It is definitely not your run of the mill, boxpleated insect-a truly great piece. Thanks for your help in advance!
