Fairy

Post by araknoid »

I've been asked to fold a fold a fairy, with butterfly wings and so on ...
does anybody know of a good one? Maybe with a free CP?

Thanks!

Hah, I'm suprised you don't want to design one yourself, araknoid. I don't doubt you can impress us all with your own. :D

I don't bring any help though, sorry.

you're too kind!
anyway i'd really like to fold someone else's work for a change, spiking the square with box-pleating is nice and fun but a delicate-looking fairy...
i'm sure that someone has a better model than what i can come up with now.
:?

ps. there's a gorgeous fairy artist here, if there aren't available models and designing is required i'd like to stay in this style, maybe someone can help, my big concern are wings. (wings!)
flat and insect-like? color changed? with creases shown? oh and maybe my fairy could also have those insect things on the head. ok help needed! my time limit to start precreasing is the 19th... arg!

In this topic you can find diagrams for Quentin Trollip's and a link to Dave Brill's fairy diagrams.

If your looking for something a bit more complex you can try Jason ku's fairy:
