I haven't seen your flickr jonathan, sorry. With respect to whining and asking many times on many posts, I believe work needs to be done on both sides, aka those in the know and those not. If you want to provide help, make it useful and explain it like you would a comp to your grandma. Make the help helpful so they don't ask again. To those asking for help, don't settle for a two-three line WRITTEN explanation unless that is all that you need (highly doubtful emoticon here). Also, if the help was not helpful, SAY IT. If you do not, people will continue thinking their (expletive) attempts work and you will not get anywhere. As Jonathan said, the thread should continue until help is complete.

Discussion such as this is something that I encourage because it gets people moving/pissed and sometimes raises the bar, which I hope my attempt here has. On occasion people will pout, cross their arms, post some tears, and stomp off, and that is good too :) . No need for weakness even at a very low level of socialization.

I think the point here has been made, but has not been entirely my own and has been further enchanced by the rest of the community. Logical and specific questions answered by clear and meticulous responses. If you don't feel you are up to providing a good response, just don't post it at all even if you know what you are talking about.

Very cool. I agree with that last post (for the most part). I have some disagreements about "no need for weakness". Whatever form the weakness is in, it can be remedied-and that is something that even a "low level of socialization" can do, at least to some extent. And besides, that is why we are all here at this forum, right? To learn.

Huh. I thought you must have seen my flickr to know my name is Jonathan. That is kind of creepy. And by the way, just call me Jon
