Yes, sounds incredibly stupid, but its kind of the truth. I actually can collapse it, but im trying to search for the easiest, cleanest and more logical way to do it.

I only ask for a model that contains this (or similar) internal structure. Would be preferable to find diagrams or something else. Of course, in the worst of the case and if you have many time, you could try to collapse it by yourself, but I don't want to lose my credit. :wink:

I think Robert Lang's Sea Urchin has the multi-birdbase section.

I think Robert Lang's Butterfly from Origami Insects and their Kin has a similar complex in the middle.

It's also very similar to Nicolas Terry's "Extinct Bird" or "Oiseau Disparu", his dodo bird model.

This has nothing to do with finding a multi-bird base model, but what does that crease pattern make when folded?

Hummm. It seems i will have to refold sea urchin or extinct bird. Thanks for your help.
Aqua Dragon, this is the cp for the head of a phoenix. Its going to be cool.
