Purpose: Print messages and pictures strategically placed so when the crane is folded it shows up on the wings
I just need it a JPEG or high quality file so I can paste them strategically, print and fold. I'm terrible on photoshop and stuff. I just need a template that'll print 6 inch or 3 inch squares

Thank you, this does help. However, I need to print messages on the paper and need to print on strategic placed areas then fold the crane. Did you make that from a special program?

Top left is the crease pattern (after the thinning folds, before forming the "legs/tail" and head). Top right should be the 3 inch pattern with just the wings. Bottom should be the 6 inch pattern with just the wings.
Slightly off-topic here, but I'm still very new to CPs and I fear I've thoroughly misunderstood something here. I always thought the CP for the traditional crane looks like this:
With the collapsed base being (obviously) the bird base.
Maybe I don't even know how to really fold the crane. What thinning folds are you talking about? I don't do anything beyond the 3 reverse folds (tail, neck, head) once the bird base is reached.
I also just recently used the above CP for printing something onto the paper such that the folded crane shows it on the wings and I found that I can use the complete triangle (with the inner 22.5+22.5=45 degrees at a corner) for printing.
Visionary, that is the flapping bird. The crane is made by making a bird base, then with two opposite long flaps pointing up, and the other two down, you valley fold the edges into the center line to thin the neck and "leg/tail". Then once you've folded the head and leg, you fold the wings down as far as they will go. Finally, you can pull the wings apart, forming that cool inflated look. Look at the top right of the forum on any page to see the crane.
And technically the CP you've drawn, while possible, is not correct. It corresponds to a bird base with the four long flaps all pointed down, and the triangle at the top sunk or folded over. And then folding the whole thing in half along the axis
Normally, in a crease pattern, you stop once you are at the base. But, since this was a case of where you could print and have it visible, we needed to take it a step further.
Everyone, thank you for all your help!! This is what I was looking for. How do you draw crease pattern? I search on the 'web' came up with Robert Langs "Treemaker" software but when I tried it, it's very confusing for me because he's very technical.
Need a easy to learn, I'd like to have other crease pattern for traditional origami models and it would be best if I can do that myself if I could
I drew it in Macromedia Freehand MX. It's a standard vector drawing program. Special software like Treemaker is not for drawing the crease pattern, but for designing a CP.
Anyhow, what I did was I folded the crane (actually just half of it) and then unfolded it to see what the creases looked like. Then I just drew it in the program.
