Wow. That was pretty amusing :D . I am really looking forward to what you come up with for General Grevious, Angrydemon. Maybe you'll have to make origami versions of all the droids, like the pit droids, the batttle droids, the destrroyer droids and so on. That'd be really cool!

If you can't fold it, try a bazooka.

I noticed that the only plausible way to fold General Grievous wearing his freakishly huge cape is if I use a 1 by 2 rectangle. Looks like I'll have to break a few rules. The legs need to be very long and take up a lot of paper. There are so many bugs to work out, you probably won't see the end result for a very long time.

It would be pretty cool if I made designs for all the droids. I could fold a few hundred of those and create my own droid army! Then, I can proudly display my army in my bedroom and freak out anyone who walks in.

Would you believe I took only 20 minutes to design and fold this? I came up with an idea, folded it out, and it actually worked!! I guess I'm just lucky that way

This is getting old. Let's stop with the squirrel joke, please.
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad. :)

I took some new pictures of my Phoenix. This time, with a cool background and proper lighting! And it doesn't look blurry!

I like it ! The lighting is perfect and the model is sharp.

As you experiment with photos, you might test different types of fishing lines or colored threads that match the background, and/or model, so that the support disappears.

Also, if you really want to work at it, you can remove the lines using photoshop type applications.... there are lots of them.

...on your next photos...

Good pix !

Thanks Hank! I took your advice and used Photoshop to get rid of the strings. Now it looks like it's floating in mid-air. Spooky...

I just finished folding Kamiya's Bahamut with a 42cm square of tissue foil. It wasn't very hard, only took about 3 hours. I couldn't fold the head properly though, because the paper turned out to be too small. The wings were also quite annoying too fold, because the body kept getting in the way. I might post a picture tomorrow. Luckily, my Bahamut is 100% different to Kamiya's, so I won't get sued. I prefer my Bahamut's head though, mainly because the horns are more pronounced. I also noticed that the hercules beetle was the only model not featured in the color pages. Poor little guy. Right now it's 1 a.m and I should be in bed...
