Anyone else from outside Germany (and Austria

) going to the OD connvetion? See you there!

I will be there (but depending on the survey I do not count because I'm from Austria).

I guess your best bet would be to find someone who lives nearby, comes by car and has a place left...
Maybe you could ask on the Papierfalten Yahoo-group if there someone like this who would be willing to take you with him.

Pasquale D'Auria had a great display also, I like the guns especially, and the glasses and scissors.!
Great modulars by Dirk Eisner!
Heinz Strobl with his knots.
Hans Birkeland and his cards.
And also Edwin Corrie. Was he there? Great rabbit!
And our own Gerwin and Anna!
Everything was good, it looks like you had a great time!
Mekks doing some magic at the end there also.

Anna, nice Panda. Is it one sheet for the Mommy and baby, or 2 squares?

The Panda is by Katsuhisa Yamada and diagrammed in his newest book. Like every other model in this book it is from one square without cuts or glue. I can really recommend buying his books, his models are gorgeous!

About Pasquale D'Auria: His scissors are actually a smoothly working two-piece model. But even better his harmonica is a working model as well, if you know how to play it

Unfortunately Hans Birkeland wasn't there in person (or maybe I didn't find him in the mass of people, but he wasn't listed in the list of attendees either).

Edwin Corrie was there shortly on Sunday. You can see him in this picture together with Roberto Gretter (don't know who the woman was).

Mekks was awesome. Even if you knew how the tricks worked you had a hard time seeing how he was doing it.

So many pictures, so much to see. Looks like it was a fabulous event.

Do you really mean that the D'Auria harmonica plays correct notes and even tunes?
Even if it just plays a note, that's really impressive.
