Have Mercy! Need help with Hoang Trung Thanh's Reaper

First, I must apologize, I'm somewhat new to the world of crease patterns and I would like to get more and more accustomed to working with them so I can create more advanced models. But I digress. I'm quite confused with regards to the orientation to the upper left corner of the crease pattern. Can anyone show me how this looks? Thank you much in advance
