Origami for beginners
Hi, its my first post here as I have just joined. I have being doing origami for just over a year now but haven't really made anything thats very detailed. I was woundering if a user would post a link to a diagram or a crease pattern to make something that would impress my parents and friends and help me through it. I have never managed to do a crease pattern before but would like to know how to solve them as most amazing origami creations only give out their CP. I would be more than greatful if someone would help me and thank you in advance.
Hey Johnathon,
Here is Robert Lang's site with lots of impressive crease patterns!
http://www.langorigami.com/
But unfortunately, i don't know much about crease patterns either.
Hope this helps!

I always liked Charles Esseltine's 'Dragon in Flight', here:

But maybe you've seen it.
If you're ready for CPs, check out Hideo Komatsu's site, though his CPs are nowhere near as easy as box-pleated ones.

I'm sure you could find help for the owl and wolf with the search function.
Find something you like and I'm sure someone on the forums could give you some help.

If you're a beginner, I don't think you want to touch any of the crease patterns on Robert's website for a very long time. The coloured lines are confusing and disorienting. One time I went blind after looking at one for too long and I had to walk around with a cane for two weeks.
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.
