Dollar Bill Diagrams

Post by madarko »

I want to diagram a dollar bill fold, but am unsure of wether it is illegal to use images of scanned dollar bills for diagrams if I want to post them on tinternet or publish them in a book?

I'll post the finished diagrams here when I finish them

Do you mean just showing pictures? If thats the case then i think it's perfectly fine because i've seen plenty of sites with money diagrams and vids on youtube.
Keep on trying, it will work.

I wouldn't do it, if only because all the details on the dollar are distracting. Now, if you use the markings on the dollar as references, then of course you'd want to use it, but apart from that, I'd stick to something simple, like making one side grey and the other green, or white and green.

Your image is small enough that the Feds won't come after you though.
