Can anyone help me on David Derudas shell??? http://www.pajarita.org/aep/internacion ... ern5-2.pdf
I have everything up until steps 18-20 I can't for some reason figure out the final twist and locking of the model. Thanks 8)

Oh and did anyone ever figure out what was supposed to be done on steps 5-6 for his Ranoshi??? http://www.origami-cdo.it/articoli/foto/ranoshi.gif I was searching the forum yesterday and found a thread on it but it seemed no one ever figured out what exactly was supposed to be done.

Basically in step 18a, you are bringing all four of the marked points to the 'x'

If you did it right, it should look similiar to step 18 b.

The coloured side should by convex, not concave.

In step 19, you are basically folding the long flap into the
model.

20 is easy enough, so you don't need my help for it. :)

Hope that (sort of) helped! I know worded instructions are hard to under stand, but i didn't have the time to make photodiagams. Sorry. :oops:

How does it stay though? Mine doesn't seem puffed up like yours does. Do you pull the points one by one? Or pinch them all together and pull them as one? Also I don't really understand the locking fold. Yes step 20 is clear it's just getting to that. This is probably really simple, I don't know why I am not getting it. Sometimes it just doesn't process. I'll play with the model some more tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

No luck on ranoshi though? I really like him I think he's super cute but that diagram just baffles me.

I have folded the ranoshi. The diagrams are very unclear, but there are some photodiagrams that you can download somewhere. Thats where I folded it from. Not the diagrams. If I can find them again I'll edit my post and put it in. :)

I folded the ranoshi with the photodiagram also... I have it somewhere, so if anybody is interested on that let me know and I'll take a look at my diagrams collection.
