An impressive revision. I really like the background for the photo. Good job with the hind legs and tail-it is interesting how you solved the leg problem. The angle of the neck and the proportions are great-the only thing that really sticks out at me is that the neck looks too thick.

Good job on the giraffe.

As Anna said, the hind leg section looks a lot better :-)
But the angle of the neck is the same, isnt it?
Its just that the hind legs are now a bit shorter, that gives the impression the neck angle changed.

thumbs up :-)

No, I CRIMPED the neck upwards. The legs only look shorter because they're bent forward.

Here is my new model, inspired by Funagakure Yuki's Chinese Dragon.

Sweet. 8)
How did you start designing models?
Origami Design Secrets? Or are you just self taught?

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Folded from one uncut square of MC treated double tissue. It's really great! You should try it! Tissue foil is just plain disgusting.

I know that I have made several angels before, but those are embarrassing pieces of crap that don't deserve to be used as toilet paper. I hope this one meets expectations!

Hey! The angel looks like a nice design. Hair, feathered wings, fingers, patterned dress, detailed feet...

I know its hard, but beside to all these details, clean folding without wrinkling the paper is necessary to fullfill the expectations in the elegance of an angel.

Keep on, you are on the right way :-)

This model was mainly folded with traditional methods, with minimal box-pleating. I found this paper in the stationery shop today. It was labeled "brown paper" but I think it may be kraft paper. It has lines on it, like cardboard, and one side is waxed, while the other side is untreated. The paper is very thin, strong, and holds creases extremely well. They come in large 120cm by 90cm rolls and best of all, it's dirt cheap!

This is basically the same design, except I changed the arrangement of the body pleats and wet-folded it with MC. Folded from one uncut square of kraft paper. Now the old one disgusts me with great intensity.

Hey angrydemon! This one is really good. You know i am always very critical. Congratulations :-)

One could argue about proportions of some parts of the body...but thats not very important details.
