It seems to be out in the UK, but not the States yet. Should be generally available soon! Re the title, I've got a quote from Robert Lang inside "I can think of nobody better qualified to write this book"nonkelgans wrote:let us know when it's available, I gonna buy one even if it's only for the title.
On the same page I've posted free diagrams for a model by Mick Guy that didn't make the cut - hope you like it!

Didn't you already write a book with the EXACT SAME NAME?
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.

Angrydemon, why are you insulting most people? this his nick robinson, his books taught me a lot of early models.
OT: nick, are you still doing a strip for the gardian comic? (we stopped buying it a few months ago)

NO, I mean he already wrote a book with the same name.

Or maybe it's the same book, but with a different front page cover. FREAKY...

I'm still trying to figure out how this is supposed to be insulting.Didn't you already write a book with the EXACT SAME NAME?

Not freaky if you 're an author - you have zero control over the cover. The final image on the cover of the ori bible was different to the previews and awful and the title worse, but would they listen? Then it stiffed. Big surprise! The cover you've shown was the one I expected, but they changed it and didn't tell me. It's the same book inside! I actually think it's a brighter image, so approve, but sorry to Anita Barbour, whose dragonfly it was.angrydemon wrote:NO, I mean he already wrote a book with the same name. Yes, it's me, although you got the name a bit wrong.Nick wrote:Is the Lee Sen Him? How are you? You're a name from the good old days!lhs1701 wrote:I will and probably multiple copies to give as gifts.
Anyway, good news.
I got the book and this book is now available in Singapore.
I like what I see, so I will be getting more copies soon.
Perhaps we can talk more via Facebook.

I got "Origami Kit for Dummies" the other day and it gets my highest recommendation (and not just because Nick's a friend). Not only does it look like a great book for encouraging beginners, but it also has plenty of models that even experienced folders won't have seen before and will enjoy making.
P.S. Hi there, Hee Sen. I can't believe it's been 20 years...

Yes, Edwin, time really flies doesn't it?
Are you on Facebook? Would like to add you and keep in touch.
I hear news about you now and then via various sources.
As for the book, I am going through it thoroughly to see which audience it fits and it appears to fit almost all except the most advanced origamist, a word I learned from the book.
