Here is a terribly long article (and if it wasn't enough, in spanish) about modulars and poligons, but it finishes with a diagram for a FIT like the one you posted. I've never tried (and I doubt I will ever try) But it seems to work

I like origami & geometry and I'm from Italy so I have no problems with spanish (perhaps I have them with english).

However, in the picture fi-ori posted, each point seemed to be made of one sheet. It doesn't look like it would be too hard, the only problem would be finding the reference points.
