Sorry I haven't had time to look at it especially since nanowrimo just started but I will try to get to it today.

Re: Marijuana Leaves
i had looked at this topic a while ago and got the diagrams ok, the links weren't broken. i kinda remember there was one version that was computer-drawn, not the ""Pi'n" de Maria" by gilgado. do those diagrams exist elsewhere? I've tried using google for literally hours to no avail.

Re: Marijuana Leaves
Some help collapsing the Brian Chan's leaf. I seem to get stuck on collapsing it flat. Images will help a lot. Thanks you.

The process of making is the point of it. The object looks good if the process felt good.

Re: Marijuana Leaves
it was tricky for me the first time, too. it doesnt collapse flat, at least it never has for me. just use some squash folds to splay all the leaves out equally and flat. i can try and put up pics later today if i find some time

Re: Marijuana Leaves
Does anyone know how to do the initial dividing for this model (Brian Chan's Green Leaf) I have searched high and low to no avail on how to divide it up by fifths diagonally before dividing it into 20 diagonally...

Re: Marijuana Leaves
Sorry for taking so long to reply, just tried this model for the first time today. I'll tell you how I did it.origami_folder4 wrote:Does anyone know how to do the initial dividing for this model (Brian Chan's Green Leaf) I have searched high and low to no avail on how to divide it up by fifths diagonally before dividing it into 20 diagonally...
1. I divided the paper into a 5x5 grid
2. To make the diagonals, I folded the corner along the grids. Use this for a better understanding, it shows it using thirds instead of fifths, but still works. http://img851.imageshack.us/i/13rdbd.gif/
Hope this helps
