Stephen O'Hanlon - Styracosaurus

Hello to you all!

I'm a new to this forum, so please treat me kindly.

I've been folding many dinosaurs, and decided to try on a nice styracosaurus from his site (Fishgoth). Somehow I've got stuck on step 30, where it has to make a reverse fold for feet. Have I done something wrong with the sink, since when I try to open the layer it gets stuck on part of the head? Any help is much appreciated

hello im karan im new but ive folded it it is a googd model but lacks 1 back leg ill look it up and help as much as i can.

Are you in stuck from 29 to 30 or from 30 to 31?

Anyway here some extra intermediate steps between 30 and 31.

Origamigianluca, that was just the right step, thank you! Now I could do the legs properly

My fault was that I had done the sink to the horn wrong, so the whole leg somehow got stuck when I tried to lift it. I needed to open a few layers, and so I got it right. Thanks again!

I have supposed that the problem should have been some wrong fold before step 30, since it is not so dificult in itself

BTW at the fist attempt I've done the same mistake folding the hoprn flap instead of sinking it.

Wot the others says sounds about right. Do post a photo - I'd be interested to see what other people end up with...

Hi folks

I made the Styracosaurus a while ago, please take a look! I made a couple of changes to the model; I left the front legs a bit bigger so that the animal would look heavier. I experimented also on the model quite much, so the paper looks somewhat off. Please tell me what you think!

Here's the model. It stands less than 6cm tall, so it got pretty small.

Nice job! Did you use kraft paper? The lines on the model make it seem like some of the models Kafar folded; they have the lines too.

It's folded from common wrapping paper, but it resembles a lot the kraft paper you mentioned.

Might be that here in Finland kraft paper is sold as wrapping paper or something.

Very good job!

I like the final shape you have reached.
It is not easy because there are many folds without referments and so the final shape can vary significanlty (my fistr attempt looked like an odd pig

)

Do any of y have a video or something i still dont get which part i folded wrongly.. Very thx for all that tried to help me.
