I'm beginning to get interested in scrapbooking and I found this cutting device, Magic kuts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYwDZLopVcA
Anyone tested it and know if you can use it to cut accurate squares for origami?

It doesn't look very precise. From other folders I've got a tool called CraftROBO recommended. It can cut any shape precisely, also things within the paper and such things. Some of the tessellation guys use it to score their paper (make all the precreases without folding) or other materials. If you are more into paper art maybe you should look into this instead. It's a bit more expensive and there are around 5 different machines available from 200 up to 2000 €, depending on their cutting area and size. Search for it on Google to find out more about it, but it sure is more precise and more useful. From what I know it works like a printer. You design whatever you want in a graphic program on your computer, then send it to the cutter. You can also print something on the paper first with your usual printer together with some reference marks for the cutter so it cuts precisely where you want it to cut even if your plotter was a few millimetres off. From what I understand, it has some kind of inbuilt point scanner to find the reference marks.
