Origami club meets?

Post by stevieboy1 »

Hi all being new here i just wonderd if there were any such thing as origami clubs that meet up and g though origami model making, like tips helping others ferther there model making. talks and model making classes. Sorry if its a sill question but some times i find following the instructions a little confusing and sometimes total blocking me from going ferver and i find sometimes the best way to move on is to see how its done. Kinda like a school lesson i supose.

Im just starting to get back into this hobbie and it would be so nice to meet up with some fellow enthusiasts and get making lol. Im in the ik in kent and didnt know if there was anyone or anything going on in and around my area? Anyone know anyway i could find out?

kind regards
Steve.

Those associations that you ask for indeed exist, of course it depends on where you live. check http://www.origami-usa.org/groups for information on US and international associations and how to reach them.

And of course there are the British Origami Society mini-meetings!

If there isn't one close by, you could always start one :-)

I moved the topic into the right section.
it could help if you would just tell us, where you are living. meetings in Germany, Holland, Japan or Greece wouldn't be much of service when you're living in the USA. :)
