It's official!

Post by Sara »

Ok, so it's official:
I am coming to the convention, and I will most probably be teaching Kawasaki-san's rose (on the 22.5 degree grid). Kawasaki-san sent me an email today with permission, and Colin seemed to be happy about my suggestion.

But where are all the forum members saying they're coming?

Also, I love the raven!

Sara~
Happy to hear of your attending & teaching at the BOS convention !
Doubly happy to learn of your teaching Kawasaki's rose. Your impeccable teaching style, preparation for teaching, and ability to clarify details are second to none. I am sure that there are folks who would enjoy learning the rose, but are reluctant due to a couple of "gnarly" folds best resolved in person.
I believe that many folders will appreciate your efforts...
As to attending... I am in anguish !
I would desperately love to attend, but am in the process of tying up loose ends prior to my upcoming pilgrimages to conventions , later this summer and fall ( BOS Autumn, perhaps ?)
As usual, of course, I will be following the BOS convention online with unabated interest and undiminished envy !
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

Sara-
Many thanks for your amazingly speedy, and considerate, posting of the convention model displays.
For those of us who were unable to attend, it is a real treat to see many of the new models that adventurous souls have ingeniously created !
Your posting kind of takes the sting out of our inability to attend !
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

I'm going to move to Munich on 11 April. It'll be interesting to meet some origami enthusiasts from Germany!
