I was trying to make a grape and I made up a strawberry. My first one was purple. I'd think it'd be better with a double coloured sheet; one side green, the other red.

What do you all think of it?
That is quite nice.
There is a well known traditional model strawberry model that looks very similar to yours. It is often folded from colour changed paper as you suggest.
The "leaves", or green areas, are finished differently to your model.
With the traditional model, you blow into the model, as with the traditional waterbomb or frog, to inflate it and thus create the strawberry shape.
Mine is made out of the square base, but then you fold the tips down a bit, and do the same thing as a frog base. Then you modify the leaves, etc. and blow in to the top while holding 4 places where two layers meet. Could you give me a link to the traditional one? I'd be interested in trying it out. Thanks.
Toshikazu Kawasaki expanded upon the idea and produced an excellent series of variations on the form: an eggplant, bell pepper and Japanese Radish (Daikon)
