I designed and folded a pig! From one uncut square. I wanted it to be like those black and pink pigs: http://www.jacobimages.com/gallery/d/27 ... -pink-baby

So I included colour changes :) Unfortunately, the only colour changing paper I have is kami :( But it had some good colours:

Awesome! The color changes are nice and the pig looks relatively fluid and alive!
And kami isn't that bad. I'd be happy if I have kami.

Pig looks good - like the breed: English Gloucester Old Spot.
Though, as you mention, the kami does not flatter your model at all, so it's good that with average paper it still looks alive.
The line of the belly tht enters in to the hind legs on each side looks a bit messy, any way to tidy that up?
Also, Perhaps do something about the large black area on the pigs left hand side, it looks a little forced and unnatural (even though that's in the photo!), an almost diagonal stripe.
Is there a layer there to colour change and use to break the block up at all.

The face, and snout in particular are great, he really looks as though he's "snuffling".

Hi, thanks for commenting :) Yeah I see what you mean about the colour change. The colour change is easy enough to fix, I just fiddled around with it to get a different shape from the other side.

Do you mean the line close to the tail? That also should be easy enough to change--it's just my bad shaping

I'm going to get some better pink paper then paint it black on one side and refold it...when I have time :(

Two lines: 1 the line of the bottom of the belly, as it joins in to the hind legs, it goes in almost parallel to the floor - is there a way to swivel up part of the line closest to the hind leg in order to round out the belly

2: regarding the black area on the left hand side of the pig, it looks like the picture, but still - to me, and maybe me only - looks wrong somehow too geometric. Varying the shapes of the edges of the colour change to give them a slightly less rectilinear shape might help.

I look forward to the version with the more forgiving paper

I like the way you did the toes and the 3d effect, though the head does not really look like those of a frog, though this may just have been intentional.

I like it, nice long legs and good toes...are they box-pleated waterbomb bases?

No, not based on water bomb base. The layout is basically the same as Kawasaki's frog actually :) But yes it is box-pleated :)

Thanks for comments.

Legionzilla, I see what you mean, I may try to modify the head. But I quite like the head as it is. Sorry if this sounds really pig-headed  I'm not taking a defensive stance and I certainly don't mind you making criticisms, but truly, this is what I feel.

Ok, but as I said above, you could have done it intentionally. Sorry if I caused any hurt to the creator.

Great job on that toad! I like the geometric nature of the body-it gives your toad a unique texture.
