Eileen Tan - Nine-tailed Fox (CP)

I need help with the detailing of the 9 tailed fox by Eileen Tan (Wolf). I'm pretty sure that I folded it correctly, but, the tails of mine ended up in the body. The legs (maybe I shouldn't have used 92 gsm Kraft) were thick and I got messed up with the tails.

Upload your pictures to imageshack, then you can resize them to fit the forum

I'll fold this model and maybe take some pictures to help you.

EDIT: Maybe your problem could be on the two mane flaps. (the two thick flaps that are on the center line)
did you notice that the front legs are right next to the ears? You might have thought that the mane flaps were the front legs, and that way it could get the tails inside the body someow
Rest of the flaps seem to go to their places quite easily, probably the paper just messed up your folding.

9-tailed foxes are brutal on your paper. There are just so many flaps that need to be thin enough to be distinguishable-even if the design is simple, the paper requirements are tough.

That's true. Especially when most of them use box pleating.

I used Kraft paper to fold mine, which is pretty good for folding, however, it still ended up too thick. What gsm to you reccomend? My thinnest is 50gsm only.

50gsm is pretty thin-as long as the paper is large enough and is properly sized, you should be able to fold (wet-fold) just about anything with it. A 9-tailed fox might require thinner paper, though.

My 50gsm paper is huge! I think it could make a 75 by 75 cm square. However, my main problem is the detailing. My flaps are all in the wrong postition!
