Diagramming Experts - Co-Author a Book ?
I am cross-posting without permission. I don't know if Dorothy Kaplan is serious, but she has suggested that she is interested in collaborating with someone who can do diagrams on the computer.
Dorothy is a very experienced folder and creator, but like many of us, she has never developed the knack for diagramming on the computer.
If you have the time to devote, the patience to diagram Origami on the computer - as well as some test and debug of the models, then let me know by PM and I will forward her email address to you.
In fact, with a little searching, you can probably find her email yourself.
For someone with good computer savvy, this is an amazing opportunity.

No. I wasn't clear. They would be Dorothy Kaplan's models... and she probably has developed hundreds ... with many to choose from.
I believe that most of her models are very accessible, intermediate or easier. In addition, she is very gracious, so in addition to learning from her, you might want to make designs of your own after working with her...
Let me know by PM...

She would be overjoyed to work with you, if you have the patience, time, and skill to do diagrams by computer. If interested, even if only curious with trepidation, you can get the details from her.
I assume that some of her models are hand-drawn, rough diagrams.
If I could diagram, or even do a reasonable fake, I would jump on it myself and keep all the glory for me alone

P.S. - Jump in, the water is fine, and not too deep....

Dorothy Kaplan is one of the anchors of Origami and I believe that any of the Masters of Origami would be happy to vouch for the decades of quality work.
I don't believe that you have to make any commitment, until after you email her to see if it is even viable for the two of you to work together. The geographic differences may be hard to overcome.
