Origami Rose

Post by thecardist »

Hi people :)

I'm kinda new to origami, and I'm trying to make this really cool origami rose I found.... I can follow most of the instructions, but after step 9 its gets kinda cryptic. Can anyone put the instruction's in layman's terms or just describe it better?

Thanks in advance :D

The pdf's here:

uhhh...not really, but a water bomb is that cube thing, right? It doesn't really seem like that to me, though.

For the first part? It's not a triangle, though, it's a square o.o

...I mean that the diagram shows a square, not that the water bomb base is a square :)

There is no waterbomb in the rose diagrams maybe for the bud, but the question was specifically for the rose.

Step 9 tells you to fold those triangles located at the corners "inside" the paper. This is accomplished by making a mountain crease on the external sides of the triangle (the one at the front and the one at the back) and a valley fold in the middle (the part that is a diagonal before step 9).

And you have to do the same on the 4 corners.
