Hello Folders in Sydney

I would just like to say that a few of us (4 to be precise) in Sydney Australia have finally managed to get together for an origami group meeting yesterday.

We would like to continue to meet and also for new origamist to join us.

We plan to meet monthly on a weekend that's around the early 20th day or so. At the moment the exact time is flexible.

We will be meeting at the Mandarin Centre at Chatswood (outside the Willoughby Library).

Spirit of Cat, a senior on this forum, has nominated himself as the main contact for our group.

PLease contact SoC if you are interested in coming to our next meeting!

Ok everyone - we got the time finalised for our next meeting!

Sat 27/2, 12pm (ie noon)

Chatswood Mandarin Centre Food Court, upstairs from the Willoughby Library.

Seeing how the place could start to get quite full at that time, and no one knows what we look like (other than the 4 or us who already know each other), please try to find the table of people where there is a copy of Robert Harbin Origami 1 on the table.

It would also be nice if you could let me or Spirit of Cat know in advance (via this forum) so we have some clue of numbers when we are there!

Looking forward to seeing some new faces!

Well redhead, based on some of your writing I am guessing you are probably in high school? I am sure you can request a trip to Sydney as your special 16/18/21 birthday present.

does any has a book on origami tessellations? i have a project to create my own origami typography, so i would like to take a look at what diagrams i refer in order to fulfill my design. thank you.
