Did you do squash folds for the eyes? It looks very nice :).

The legs also look terrific!!
Thanks all!

Andrew,
I haven't shaped the eyes yet i was unsure 'bout it so i left them unshaped temporary.

I've got a shaping question for you guys. In the past I've been gluing down the finished model to a base and using a wire support to help it stay curved and upright, but this time I'd like to make it without a base. What do you all do to keep it curved? Are you using a wire spine, or wetfolding/MCing it somehow?

Did you fold it? ;o Please upload photos!!

what about shaping, i put my curved ryu in a bow, and left there for a while. later i got curvy body without wet shaping.

Bu think kamiya used a wire to make the head-up. cause mine and other else, the head just doesn't keeps itself high...

Hello!

I am new to this thread, so please forgive me if I ask something that has been mentioned in the endless pages of this thread,

I have been looking all over the place for the CP of ryu jin 3.5, and though I have seen a few, they all differ in inute forms. Is there an official CP of this model anywhere? (Yes, I know there is a joke on Kamiya's site with a picture that is 3cmx3cm)

Even if there is no official cp, is there any place that has an acurate CP?

I think the only way to legally get the CP is from Satoshi Kamiya himself.

Though it seems like someone said something about him not giving it out anymore so he can do something special with it.

Special? I wonder what he meant by that (If he did say that). Maybe he will make revisions or thick & thin lines, and publish? Maybe as a CP challenge in Tanteidan? Oh, I want to fold this model so much...

Orion - I was that someone, and I contacted Kamiya, and as far as I know, he was never "handing out" Cps. I talked to him relatively recently again, and he said "Because, there is a plan to use the crease pattern already.
(so, it will be released sometime (hopefully) soon)." I hope that his plan will be released soon, as he hoped.

Can't wait to see your finished Ryu Jin, Orion!! :D

He is going to have the CP on the front page of the Origami Tanteidan Special Edition which contains diagrams of the model in the year 20xx.

Everything is possible.

I was just wondering,is it possible that someone could make a coloured CP,showing V and M folds?Since I'm not that good at reading CP's :?
