Phoenix wing cp help

Hi, I'm new, and I was wondering if anyone would help me better understand the wing configuration on Kamyia Satoshi's phoenix. I have the cp, but every time I fold it, the wing look terrible! The feathery part sticks out the side, they don't run along side the body like in satoshi's site. any suggeestions?
