New to origami

Post by origamilover4life »

Hi everyone, I just got started in creating origami, and been doing it for 2 months now. I must admit that it has become a passion and a stress reliever. I dedicated a gallery on my website called My origami. I would love for everyone to check it out and give me there feed back please.

Although you seem to rely on colour in a few models,it looks great!
Art is about creation. It is about self-expression. It is giving form to something within you.

Very pretty, definitely.

I will point out that the rollover images on your links don't work on the site, though.

Yeah I love color a lot. Its also how the paper came in the kit. I planned on trying to find better paper. I went to Hobby Lobby and they have a pretty good selection of origami paper. I'm also thinking about purchasing some paper from on line if I find a good store on line.

Thank you Jadylyon. I have checked the rollover link in three different major browsers and they pop up. Try refreshing if you go back to my gallery.

Hmm. I use Chrome and the links don't work, but it is a non-common browser.

I fired up Internet Explorer just to check, as well as Firefox but they didn't work in those browsers either. I took a look at your rollover code and it's some weirdly complex javascript that is unfortunately beyond my skill to debug.

on the other hand, the little slideshow of the flowers works like a charm - and that's the important part!

I don't really know what to tell you. I double checked everything. I even called on a few friends to check my site and the rollover buttons on the site from there computers and everybody else is getting them. I was able to create the buttons through Microsoft Frontpage. Like you said as long as the slide works then i'm ok. That is the main thing that i wanted to display was the images. As for the rollover buttons I will go back and work on them. Thanks

Your composition/displays are fantastic. I can't wait to see what you can do once you've been folding longer. Very well done! =D>

Thank you so much. I can't wait to see what I can knock out either. I want to put together a huge display but I think I may getting in over my head. It could take a few months to do it.

These are so beautiful. Is there anyway you could email me instructions for doing the butterflies. I would really love it if you could, but if you want to keep it a secret then I understand and thanks for showing me your origami. I love them.
