Modern Blue-Christine Edison

OK, do you guys know if the tessellation Modern Blue by Christine Edison has a crease pattern? Or even if it has a grid? Thankyou all in advance.

As far as im concerned the only photo i have seen is the one in origami tessellations by eric gjerde in the gallery section

I would ask Christine, she's quite approachable. That said it's a relatively straightforward pattern to work out, if you look at the picture closely. It's just pleats folded over and intersecting, etc.

I guess that sounds strange to say but most tessellations are easy to reverse engineer once you've figured out the basics of tessellating. We see most new folders in the tess community hit this understanding point, and then they start blazing through dozens of models really quickly :)

But certainly ask Christine, she most likely has no pattern for you but can tell you how it was made, at least.

She's definitely used a grid for this model; it's a regular square grid, with some diagonal creases added. You can see these if you look closely at hte photo in Eric's book; they're clearest around the corners, but the grid goes through the whole model.

She's a member here on the forums, I'll email her the link to this page and she can hand out her email address... I don't want to post it here and have her be upset with me. She's a no-nonsense teacher and I suspect she'd probably drive up here again and hurt me :P

Redhead=Just post something to the website anywhere and you can ask specific questions and it goes straight to my email and gives me your email. I am a bit busy the next 3 weeks, but I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Though several people are right on. Basically it's a two layered set of square based twists, if I recall correctly.

Also Eric, really slander, as if I beat people up, making it sound like I abuse little ol you. I'll remember this:P
