Yes, I met Richard Alexander and Mickael LaFosse in OUSA and was able to have some new papers.
I quickly add 6 colors on line. I've a few new colors that I will add online later when I find the time to create the files.
If some of you spoke with Richard and Mickael, you know that they will not come back to the next OUSA. So no more stock before at least 2 years.

Sweet! I just bought two sheets of green and blue origamido. I didn't buy more because I mostly just want to see why this is considered the best paper for origami in the world (that and the price tag...). I'll obviously fold my own designs, probably my elf for green and mermaid for blue.

Hooray! Just recieved my two sheets of origamido! The shipping was faster than I expected, around two weeks of waiting.
Oh, and I just want to make sure : do you absolutely have to use MC with origamido? or can you simply fold the paper as is? I'm mostly asking because I want to get the best possible result with origamido (and if you DO have to use MC, I'll have to experiment with it beforehand...)
Can't wait to try it out

I think it depends on the quality of the particular sheet and the finished model. I will tell you that I have had better results treating the sheet, though...

I just noticed that Nicolas has to fold the paper to ship it. Michael LaFosse had written me to tell me that his Origamido frog paper could be unfolded, dampened, and ironed... and it would be as good as new.

(I had remarked that I was scared to make a mistake with the expensive paper)

I don't know if the same repair will work with the Origamido paper that Nicolas is selling. If someone has cut their paper and has a small scrap, it might be a good experiment to crease the scrap a few times, unfold it, wet it, iron it, and see if it comes out crisp and clean as new?

Mickael Lafosse told me, indeed, with his origamido papers, you can fold completely a model, than unfold to obtain the square and remove all the creases putting the paper in water then dry it and ironing it.

I myself tried that for some origamido papers and it's work very well (but not add in water, just spray water).
So don't stress is you fail your folding sequence. You can start at the beginnning without wasting your precious paper.

I got my own supply of origamido. I folded a lang treefrog with my green, and folded montrolls horse with 1/2 brown. What to do with other 3 half sheets?
