Origami USA Convention Books

I dunno...my japanese is awful, I'm sure. But I at least have the decency to run it though a translator...then the tenses and word placement may be off, but it still makes rough sense....that stuff above is just gibberish.

the Marchosias that Kamiya Ryo taught was only a simpler version (not even a simplified version, a simpler version. apparently they use different bases)

the arthropods Brian 'taught' was really just him presenting diagrams for a few of the arthropod models that he'd made for his upcoming book

we were given the option to make his spider, his locust, or his hermit crab :B but Jared got to make his stag beetle :U

The convention book was decent this year :/ it was by no means bad, there just weren't really any models that really stood out to me.....though the clownfish was rather nice

Origami USA uses the cheapest mail they can. It often takes months to receive something in the States, let alone Europe… If it's not there by September, then you can be worried. I would email OUSA in mid-late August if you still haven't received your copy.

I order things from OUSA and they delay 01 month at avearage to Brazil.

i ordered OUSA 2008 and 2010 from them and received it within a week.

I don't think it is a mail issue. I believe that it more has to do with being a "volunteer" type of organization. People are very busy at this time of the year with a variety of conferences and other activities.

I think some folks may have gone from OUSA to 5OSME to other conferences. Things may settle down in early August....

But, I do agree, email them after next week.

I think if it was free shipping it would be a different story. It's just hard to understand sometimes why it should take so long if you pay ten dollars in shipping.
