What Paper have you bought/recieved lately?

Post by legionzilla »

Basically, you just have to 'announce' what paper (of course those suitable for folding) you have gotten in the recent times.

I bought:

About 8 sheets of Elephanthide
3 sheets of paper of unknown origin (its geat though)
2 sheets of Kraft
1 sheet of thai silk

I bought large newsprint from a local craft store due to the size and thinness I thought it would be great. Sadly it can't hold a crease well!

Last weekend I ordered 3 inch print chiyogami and harmony kami from paperjade. I'm going to use that paper to fold modulars including boxes and polyhedra. :)

Kozo, gampi, sekishu Origamido, etc., see: http://www.flickr.com/photos/oriholic/4836426862/

Also more recently, unbleached mulberry and kozo (the $2.70 variety), Stardream, Arc tissue. I'm liking the prices of this set a little better :P

I bought the Pack discovery from Origami-Shop recently. Most of the sheets measure 35x35 cm and the package contained the following types of paper in all:

- Papers Tant : 20 squares of 35x35 cm (10 colors)
- Foil Papers : 1 square of 35x35 cm
- Origami Paper : 1 square of 35x35 cm
- Origami Paper Double-sided: 1 square of 35x35 cm
- Tissue-foil paper : 2 squares of 20x20 cm - 2 colors
- Natural tissue paper : 3 squares of 20x20 cm - 3 colors
- Fur Tissue paper : 2 squares of 20x20 cm - 2 colors

This is the link for the product description in Origami-shop.com:

I love the Tant paper best in this pack :)
