I have some problems folding the neck. Could somebody help me out?
Here is my progress (it does not lie flat):

And this is the CP I use:

The red circle indicates the exact position I have trouble with. And that is,
how that can be flat-foldable without adding another crease.

BTW, is Kamiya's second book, Challenge to Super Complex Origami, available in ordinary Japanese book store?

@orislater That CP doesn't show the head-neck-scales connection. It's the head alone.

@kijjakarn I sent you a PM that should help.

Hey, thanks for the help, Ragnorax! I'll see if I will make it through.

@orislater: It's 13 x 18. Actually, I reduced some rows of scales. You can always count the length grid on the full CP of the head.

Count from the bottom of the CP.

You have a few 3-crease intersections. Some 5s too. That's not possible.

On the official CP, it has a few 5-crease intersections, too. So... im not sure what's up with that?

to make it flat foldable you have to make a neck twist as Satoshi shows in his book

Hello,

Is there an easy version of Ryu Zin's crease pattern ?

I can't understand the crease pattern...

Yes I saw the forum about understanding cps but I couldn't understand anything...

So, please help about how to fold cps...

And I'm beginner not a master...

Burak...

@burtiii: You may have a look at the Sticky:"Crease Pattern FAQ" topic.

Are there any ideas of translating Kamiyas new book in english? Are the pictures in the book good enough for understanding the foldingprocess (without reading anything)?

Hey, maik.fischer, BrooksHalten got those Ryu Zin pages translated. If you own a copy of the book, you can get them from him.
