Have you ordered Quentin's book? If not, get that and whatever money is left - Buy paper with!

if you're in the US or UK you can get several of used books on Amazon for that much.
Some of my favs that I've gotten cheap on Amazon:
* Advanced Origami by Micheal LaFosse
* Genuine Origami by Jun Maekawa
* Brilliant Origami by David Brill
* Roses, Origami and Math by Toshikazu Kawasaki
* Origami Insects and their Kin by Robert J. Lang
* Origami to Astonish and Amuse by Jeremy Shafer

i hate to be a jerk and keep saying the same thing over and over, but again, it might be helpful to know what exactly it is you want to do.
for instance, if you are interested in folding some of the more complex projects (nguyen cung huong eagle, for instance), a roll of nicolas terry foil is an excellent investment.

Just in case you haven't followed through, I heard rumors that some paper comes with Quentin's book.... but I haven't received mine yet, so I can't verify. Also, Quentin has an eagle, too.
If you can fold his models, it may be worth it to borrow a couple of bucks...

bethnor - I rarely order from Nicolas, but it's usually a large order, so the sample pack might get lost in the other paper ... that unfortunately is collecting dust, rather than growing into fantastic models.
Thanks for the clarification, verification.
orislater - You still have a couple of weeks to place your petition for presents instead of turkeys for Thanksgiving
[Maybe a small advance for Christmas ?]

Paper. thats it. Foil, tissue, and origamido. There. your problem is solved.
by the way, remind me to spend $400 on paper that i saved up.........
But it depends. Do you usually design your own stuff like me? get a lot of paper. do you do things with other peoples models? get books and paper.
