too late for the last months' challenge and far away from being perfect - but for a first sketch i'm satisfied with: minotaur by myself folded from a rectangle (1:2) of wrapping paper (wrong choice)

That's looking pretty cool, Grizzly man. Looks more like a demon to me though.

Here's my shot at Sipho Mabona's tiger, based on his Asics video ad :

thank you very much! as i wrote already it needs a better paper quality and some more shaping. but, if you - as an expert in origami-do - recognize a demon in what i've folded, i'm on a right way ...

Thank you Nok 8) . The nightmare ain't bad either! I'd think you could get most of the wrinkles out though, maybe with a fingernail's surface...

@jogibaerli : I just went though your gallery and you have a few good folds there, but they're all called "digital camera" - also, may be you could try a different type of background, all those wrinkles are distracting the attention away from your models.

Joshua, that's a pretty promising design, you really ought to fold it cleanly, get rid of all those wrinkles. Any chance of closing the back ?

Here's yet another model from Quentin's book :
