The book of Joisel was published in November

Hello friends this is the first open forum to comment the new book by Eric Joisel Master, which is already on sale on November 30 made in English and Japanese, we thought that his art would stay in memory and I am glad that no be so, and will live on forever as it left a final gift to our community origamist, Joisel left your data handmade to Makoto Yamaguchi who edited this beautiful book and where are the most beautiful models Joisel Eric, according to the photos look also be the barbarians.

thanks, ricardo, for this post. there are some other threads discussing the same or a quite similar topic but that doesn't matter. have you already got your own issue? i've ordered mine at origamihouse about one week ago but it'll probably take another while to get it. i'm really looking forward to that special book!

I'm stillon the fence about this one. $73-90 isn't cheap,but the models are so incredible.

I saw origami shop said it had a few CPs. If anyone already has it, which ones are shown? Either way, I'm probably going to buy it.

i got my issue today and it is indeed a great book!
there are two parts - the first one a beautiful gallery and the second an insight into master joisels way of folding a piece of paper into a unique work of art. there are some sketches and prints of cp's to illustrate his style and it's design-process. at the end there's a step-by-step-diagram for the rat and an illustrated way to the dwarf base. as other people did already mention it is no collection of instructions but a fine survey of an outstanding artist and his impressive ouvre.
there's quite a lot of money to spend on it but with the master's sudden and early death the edition will probably soon be sold out and to me every page stands as a beautiful memory of monsieur joisel and so the money is everything but wasted.

A question grizzly man the book contains cps of the barbarians??
I would the book but i have no money to buy that models are explained? and which have cps?

there are cp-sketches of dachshund, cocker, shell, male nude, self made man, don quixote, colombine, arlecchino, quit of geometry, mermaid, dwarf, legolas, crane's viking, orc/goblin, gandalf.
since i'm not able to fold from a cp i don't know if these illustrating sketches are of any use to those who can read them - sorry.
ricardo, you don't need cp's - your interpretation of master joisels work is amazing!
