I just got Origami Design Secrets and a bunch of paper for Christmas:)
folded a few pegasi(?) by Robert Lang, a ruby-throated hummingbird, a pteranodon and a koi, all out of 6 inch basic origami paper. Finally, I found other people I can turn to if I have origami issues!

Quentin: That baboon is GREAT! I love how you formed the facial creases! Artur, amazing as always!

Little Bird, Designed by Kamiya Satoshi, folded by me from a 9.75" sheet of Paper Circle's Ogami paper. This is my third fold through, but the first time I was able to collapse the belly to my liking.
