Cmc glue

Post by cranemaster366 »

Does anybody have a formula for how much water to add per certain amount of powder? If not, is there a product that contains cmc glue? An alternative product (that is NOT spray glue) for making tissue foil would also work. Thanks in advance!

you can't make tissue foil with mc. and i believe cmc is the same. you should use a normal white glue diluted with water at about a 1:1 ratio hope this helps :)
my flickr tissue foil is for noobs! mc FTW!!!!

Thanks, Orislater! The reason I thought cmc would work was because tadashi mori used cmc glue in one of his videos, or atleast he said in the comments and the video itself that he used cmc glue. I'll try the white glue, though. PS here is the video.

I thought the same thing as Orislater, and made a comment on that video asking about it. Someone else reminded me that CMC and MC are different, even though both can be used to make double tissue. You can look up more about CMC differences, but Tadashimori said he used CMC with a higher concentration of CMC to water than usually used for making his unryu or adding details. I hope this helped!

Yes it did, but I would still like a formula. I want to make cmc, even if it doesn't work.
