Lion in a Paper Towel Ad
I don't have the greatest of memory, but I'm pretty sure I've seen this lion from somewhere before in one of my origami books. Can anyone remind me?

Re: Lion in a Paper Towel Ad
From the look of the photography, the obvious expertise in folding, but probably not from a single uncut square, my guess would be Joseph Wu. It has similar characteristics to Komatsu's, but has a substantially spikier mane.

i thought of joseph's lion, too. but his looks a little different. it could be that he came up with a multi-sheet one.
