it still wouldn't be possible. you would end up with a highly inefficient, thick and clumsy model.

depending on where i grafted, though. I guess I could try and work to spread out the folds. not sure right now.

Grafts are not your answer, unless as anon said you want a thick, clumsy, and in all likelihood very, very boxy result. In fact, grafts are almost never the answer. If you want to design a good ninja, get better at designing, don't just throw grafts onto simple bases. Grafts are the easy answer, but they generally give crappy results.

Qandrem has a bunch of martial artist with weapons on his flickr. And he used to be active on this forum. Just take a look. Might be worth contacting him for the base?
