hey guys, I saw some partial CPs in this thread already, so I've made up my mind that it's okay to post some others. Just note that both of these may not be exactly how Satoshi himself did them.

i folded the tail today with help from a friend and the cp is pretty different :/ is there any way to tell which one is what kamiya used? the leg cp looks good though

Haha nice So how much harder would you say the 3.5 is over the 2.1?

hmmm i dont know haha. i wouldn't really say its extremely harder but you need to be more patient and some parts take a lot longer

I wish there was more info on the 2.1. There seems to be a lot of photodiagrams, and just general info surrounding the 3.5, but I don't think I'm ready to fold that

Well, the 2.1 is easy compared to the 3.5, so giving the 2.1 a try is not a bad idea. Just testfold different sections of the cp, including the scales, diamondshaped transition units and the head. If you can fold those parts, then give it a try

Thanks Jony Coincidentally, my 30x30cm test sheets from origami-shop just arrived, so I think I'll give the head a test fold

Hello I Have recently decided to fold the origami ryujin 2.1.
just wondering if anyone could help me collapse the base of the head as I can make the other parts but the head just seem really hard.
