Shoot, I had so much stuff going on in life that I haven't had time to fold anything for this month; I hope next month won't have so much going on. I love all the entries so far, but that pelican and wyvern are definitely something else!

From a waterbomb base. People seem to talk about sinks so i guess I gotta mention that it's
got a sink, but tha sink isen't realy necessary.

Folded this last year, can i re-sumbit it? It's from the bird base. I've messed around alot with the traditional bases.




I've been pretty lazy this year with uploads and folding etc . . . I'll get back into it

Hi to everyone,
This is my first post in this forum, so i don't even know if I'm posting correctly...
I'm obviously an origami lover and in these last months I started creating my own models.
I' ve been following this for all the month and I created something (ussualy I prefear box pleating, but I discovered that there Are many beautiful things that can be done with classical bases):

This one-eyed, one-legged, tongued, armed umbrella ghost from Japanese folklore is made from a standard bird base. Got it in time for Halloween!

That rabbit is amazing! Instant win from me!
And the kasa obake is a really interesting subject, which is often one of the hardest things about designing a model- finding something interesting to make!

Here's my model of a tanuki (the character from folklore, not the actual Japanese raccoon dog which doesn't walk upright or have a cartoon face ) folded from a frog base.

Two of the short flaps form the ears, the other two are stretched downward to make the legs, the center flap is sunk and spread to make the belly and pectoral area, one of the long flaps is split to make the details of the face, two are used to form the arms and the final one is used to make the... brace yourselves before scrolling down... comically enlarged downstairs area.
