Cute. :)
Although, technically, I just asked a question...
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad. :)

An origamist tried out for a play on kirigami. Apparently he didn't make the cut.

Why do so few people watch the origami channel? Because it is paper (pay per) view.

Interesting, I am very sensitive about using such expressions, but in English it is too far from my feeling. It is hard to explain, i hope you undertand me - I ignore it. I take main sense of the joke and other things I do not see.

Anyway, great way to correct that problem. Now is that joke much better!

My 12 year old niece & I had great fun coming up with the following extremely lame attempts, mostly "based" around very weak puns (Like that last one).

Apologies in advance for the lameness...

1) Why was the origami chef fired? She kept trying to fold the bouillabase
2) What's an origamians favourite musical? Crease
3) What's an origamians favourite card game? Texas Fold 'Em
4) Why are origamians lousy electricians? They keep confusing their Fuse Boxes
5) Why did the origamian comic get thrown out of the club? Too much base humour

Some favourite Origami Movies...
1) Montroll-den Pond
2) Takashi A Thief
3) Joisel & The Pussycats
4) Hitchcock's Sirgo

And one song... "Komatsu Are" by Nirvana.

We were particularly proud of the bouillabase one.
I'll see myself out...

Why was the origamist caught while robbing the bank?

He didn't have enough glue for the stick-up!

Some more, last lot, I Promise...

1) Why are origami investments so secure? They always have abaca in their corner
2) My favourite origami book reviewer has just signed a deal with a fast food outlet, who will name a dish after him. it will be called Mc-Aharoni
3) ...this just in. Reports that Dr. Robert Lang have gone gangsta are untrue, despite his recent appearances on "Crimp My Ride" & "MTV Crimps".
4) Why are origamians such a dangerous bunch? They're always living on the edge.
5) Last night I came in with muddy footwear, and my origami loving niece told me "Yoshizawa Mess!"
6) Why was the origamian feeling guilty? He just sank the Titanic
7) I went to a teaching class, but they changed the model they were demonstrating, my friend was disapointed, he told me "I only Kamiya to Maekawan of those!"

Songs
Kami - Blondie
Cerceda-o - Phil Collins
When You Washi Upon A Star (From "Pinocchio")
Anything by Ben Folds

Films
Pleater Pan
Full Petal Jacket
Ryu-Zin Arizona
The Blintzes Bride (With the infamous "My name is Ligia Montoya..." speech

I got confused and thought the administrators name was Anna_8, which led to "The Term-Anna-8-or" but I was wrong, so it doesnt work

I am, now, done.

What do origamists do when they're emo?

They give themselves paper cuts.
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.
